WELCOME LETTER

Dear Colleagues,

The annual NanoTR conference series are considered to be the premier scientific event in Turkey in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, with broad attendance by the scientific community and highlighted with invited talks delivered by national and international experts in various areas. Now, the 14^th installment in the NanoTr conference series will be organized in Ilıca Hotel Spa & Thermal Resort, Çeşme, İzmir, between the dates of 22^th and 25^th of September, 2018 under the decree of İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH).

While the impact of nanoscience and nanotechnology in our daily lives is felt in an ever-increasing way, continuous development in these fields is expected to result in the realization of revolutionary ideas in fields as diverse as energy, medicine, electronics and optoelectronics. Within this context, the NanoTr conference series present an ideal platform for fruitful exchange of ideas which is crucial for scientific advancement.

More than 500 national and international participants, including academicians, entrepreneurs, private sector representatives, post-doctoral scientists, as well as graduate and undergraduate students are expected at the 14^th NanoTr Conference. The conference will feature two plenary talks followed by technical symposia (parallel sessions) consisting of invited talks, oral and poster presentations.
